A Bit About Me
Hi and welcome to STart Nutrition! My name is Shreya Tanna and I work as a Dietitian at NHS, in London, UK. I am a registered Dietitian with the HCPC, UK and I am a member of the BDA (British Dietetic Association). I have graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in MNUtr Nutrition and Dietetic. My aim is to help others live a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, where they are happy and feel like their best selves.
I personally struggled with having confidence about how I looked growing up, which is what inspired me to go into this field in the first place. With social media around nowadays, people are constantly seeing pictures of celebrities or even people they know that have a body they desire, but forget how hard the individual is working behind the scenes to get there and sometimes what you are seeing may not even be real (there is photoshop!). My family also has history of diabetes and cholesterol and so I was also interested in seeing how these can be prevented from passing on to the next generations to come and what can be done to manage it well once diagnosed.

Start Nutrition is that step to help individuals manage their food intake and achieve the outcome they desire. I am also frequently travelling to Mumbai, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong, so I will be more than happy to meet you guys face to face when I'm there!
